Our Values and Commitment to Early Learning
The early years of a child’s life are a critical period for reaching key developmental milestones. During this time, a child’s brain grows and develops more rapidly than at any other stage of life, laying the foundation for future learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being. Early experiences play an important role in shaping a child’s ability to communicate, build relationships, and develop confidence.
At Junior Scholars, we are committed to providing a supportive and enriching early learning environment that nurtures each child’s unique strengths and interests. We aspire to deliver an exceptional experience for your family by creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging space where children feel valued and supported. Guided by our beliefs and approach to early childhood education, we foster the following core principles in everything we do.
-
We respect each other, ourselves, and our surroundings. Everyone’s development is different and we take care to work with each child as an individual and encourage them to treat each other the same.
-
We want to build a sense of community and provide a safe place for all families regardless of abilities, lifestyles, race, or religious beliefs. Our facilities are fully accessible and we actively participate in community events.
-
We believe strongly in giving back to the community surrounding Junior Scholars. By doing so, the children learn from an early age about the benefit of helping others.
-
Children are our first priority and their safety is paramount to their well-being. Proper supervision is always maintained, our wholesome meals exceed the requirements of the Canada Food Guide, cctv and secured keyless-entry is utilized to ensure security and our programs are never over-crowded.
-
By building a solid academic foundation our children are given the opportunity to learn through play and social interaction in age-appropriate classrooms so that they are ready for their future endeavours.
