Our Early Childhood Education TeaM
Our team is carefully selected through a thoughtful hiring process and is required to participate in orientation and training days before being considered for a position. This ensures that every staff member understands our values, expectations, and commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
All Junior Kindergarten and Pre-K daycare supervisors are required to hold a current Early Childhood Education License to Practice, in accordance with provincial regulations. Our Early Childhood Education assistants may be actively enrolled in an approved ECE training program, allowing them to gain hands-on experience while continuing their professional development.
Supervisors and Team Leads within our Infant and Toddler programs have completed specialized Diplomas in Infant Toddler Care and Special Needs Education, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to support children at critical stages of development. In addition to their formal education, all staff members maintain current first aid and CPR certifications and have completed criminal record checks with vulnerable sector screening, specifically for working with children.
Junior Scholars is proud to have a team of dedicated, professional, and compassionate educators who are passionate about early learning. Our teachers work together to create a warm, nurturing, and consistent environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, and academically every day.
